God's angel smiled as he told his story

As I was sleeping God’s angel spoke to me;
Whispering, he said, "life is not what it seems; I will take you to where sweet dreams live; and this is a dream to share with others I give.
He said, "close your eyes, open your heart, it is time for sweet dreams to start."
Taking my hand He led me through a wonderful place where dreams come true. Walking from darkness into light so bright; All the lovely colors filled me with delight; I stand in awe at the splendor I see; and marvel at the beauty surrounding me.
So many lovely colors bright to behold. God’s angel smiled and this story He told.
They are the ones that have entered God’s fold.
What wonderful joy I felt in my soul.
Walking down a hall filled with a lovely sound; each door was opened wide all around from the rooms I heard soft music play.
I felt peace in my heart and wished I could stay.
No, He said, "it is time for us to go."
"There are many others that need to know about all the things I shared with you; how sweet dreams are beautiful and true."
God’s angel shared with me this dream, it is true.
Now I have shared this dream with you; and I pray all your dreams are sweet each night; and may God fill your soul with love and light.

PRAYING FOR MY CHILDREN

And made by God

Thank You Jesus for my children. Thank You that both times You gave me exactally what my heart's desire was.

When the doctors told me that I wold never have a child; I trusted and believed that You would give me one.

I prayed for a beautiful dark skinned, brown eyed little girl that I could call my own, one that I would hear call me mamma and some day grow into a wonderful young woman. You answered that prayer for me Lord and I am thankful. Now, Lord ~~ I pray that she and her family draw more close to You than ever before. That she find peace and happiness from all the things that she has allowed to come into and hurt her spirit and soul and Jesus; I ask You to forgive me and her Dad for any role we played in hurting her, misleading her and troubling her. Take it from her and let her start anew with a love that is so real and so fresh that You will literally make her shine with Your glory.

Thank You for sending her a good and hard working man to marry and to raise their daughter. What a blessing he has been. He cares for our girls and he treats us with love and respect. He is forever helpful. Thank You Jesus.

Thank You for Kiona. She is a love and so much joy to have when we become Grandparents. Now, she will be 11 this December 24th and I ask for Your complete control over the friends that she will choose, that she will remain pure and untouched before her wedding night, save her from the vampires of this world that will come in and suck all of her goodness away from her. O God, just keep her stepping on the right path and keep her safe.

I thank You for delivering to us a little baby boy ~~ born of my heart and another's womb. I now pray for Jordan and Brittnay. I ask that they find real truth in Your forgiveness and take the pain from the abortion that they went through away from their young minds, and hearts. Help me Lord to totally forgive her mother for the part that she played in the murdering of our Grandchild. Seal up the wounded hearts that satan is continuously harrassing. Turn Jordan back to You Lord and never give him up. We dedicated our children to You and we trust and believe that all that they have heard, seen and have known of You will always remain within them. Help me to be a good mother-in-law to Brittnay and that she will come to know You as her Savior.

IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER

Direction: See Gen 24:1-26 . Abraham?s servant prayed for direction to find Isaac?s wife for his master.
Instruction: See 2 Sam 5:19 David inquired of the LORD, whether he should go up against the Philistines.
Worship: See 2 Sam 7:18-27 David worshipped God with prayer and thanksgiving.
Obedience: See Joshua 6 Joshua and children of Israel defeated Jericho by following the LORD?s commandment.
Protection: See 1Samuel 7:8-12 Samuel prayed for God?s protection of Israel from the Philistines.
Deliverance: See Daniel 6 Because Daniel had a relationship with God through prayer, God delivered him from the lion?s den.
Connection/Relationship: See Gen 18 God told Abraham he was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because of their relationship. He considered Abraham a friend.
Divine Intervention: See 1 Sam1:11 Hannah prayed to God and conceived a child, although she had been barren.

WHICH JESUS DO YOU SERVE?

There seems to be more than one Jesus to choose from these days.
Which one is the true Jesus and who am I following?
There’s a ‘seeker friendly’ Jesus, he’s the one who will not offend anyone in anyway.
He loves everyone no mater what they do.
There’s a ‘sow and reap’ Jesus, he made a covenant with man so that man could sow his seed and reap wealth and happiness on earth and then go to heaven when he dies.
There’s a ‘blend in with the world’ Jesus, he wants us to look like, act like, and be like the world in order to reach the lost.
There’s a ‘never ending grace’ Jesus, his ‘grace’ covers us no matter what we do or how we live.
There’s a ‘just believe’ Jesus. As long as you truly believe in your heart, you’re saved.
There’s a ‘name it claim it’ Jesus. You name it; anything and it’s yours! If you don’t get it, it’s because you lack faith. It’s your fault.
There’s a ‘carnal’ Jesus. He doesn’t expect you to overcome sin, he understands you’re just carnal.
There’s a ‘heart dwelling’ Jesus. All you have to do is ask him into your heart and voilà, he’s there. You’re going to heaven!

There’s the Jesus who said “Repent and believe the gospel, the kingdom of God is at hand.” -Mark 1:15
He said, “Deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Him.” -Lk 9:23-25
He said without Him you are already condemned. -John 3:18
He said He came to save the world -John 3:16
He said unless you forsake all you have, you cannot be His disciple. -Luke 14:33 He said if we love anyone more than Him we are not worthy of Him. -Matt 10:37-39
He said if you love this life you’ll lose it. -John 12:25-26
He said you cannot serve God and money. -Matt 6:24
He said fear God who can destroy both body and soul in hell. -Mt 10:28
He said be extreme in your war against sin. -Matt 18:8-9
He said love God with all your heart, soul and mind and your neighbour as yourself. -Matt 22:37-39
He said He is the light of the world. –John 8:12
He said the gate is narrow and the way is difficult and few find it. -Matt 7:13-14

Which Jesus do you serve?

God knows best

GOD KNOWS BEST
Our Father knows what's best for us So why should we complain?
We always want the sunshine, But HE knows there must be rain.
We love the sound of laughter And the merriment of cheer,
But our hearts would lose their Tenderness if we never shed a tear.
Our Father tests us often With suffering and with sorrow,
He tests us, not to punish us, But to help us meet tomorrow.
For growing trees are strengthened When they withstand the storm,
And the sharp cut of the chisel Gives the marble grace and form.
God never hurts us needlessly; And HE never wastes our pain,
For every loss HE sends to us, Is following by rich gain.
And when we count the blessings That GOD has so freely sent,
We will find no cause for murmuring and no time to lament....
For Our Father loves HIS children, and to HIM all things are plain.
So HE never sends us pleasure When the soul's deep need is pain.
Whenever we are troubled, And when everything goes wrong
It is GOD working in us, To make our spirit strong.

INSTEAD OF WORRY....TRUST HIM

Sometimes when we can'tfind peace of mind, we get depressed. We often get angry and lash out at God or someone else near to you.
What do you do to get peace? I mean real peace in your life. Where do you start? What do you do?
Well, the best place to start is with God.
Turn with me to Philippians 4:6-9.
God wants you to have true peace by having you not worry - about anything (act of thinking)
Worry is sin. It means you are not trusting in God.
God says in verse 6, "Do not be anxious about anything." That means don'tworry. The word for "anxious" in the greek here means to be troubled with cares
He hasn'tgiven you that command without you being able to carry it out.
He said to the man with the withered hand, "Stretch forth your hand" (Mark 3:5)
But the man could not -- yet He obeyed and did it!
Because the Holy Spirit is in you, you are able to live by faith, and not worry... no matter what happens. Because the Spirit empowers you to be faithful, to trust, to yield to the Lord's will.
With the Spirit you are able to trust God beyond your ability to know what will happen in your life.
Matthew 6:25,27,31,33,34 ~ 25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? 31 So do not worry, saying, `What shall we eat?' or `What shall we drink?' or `What shall we wear?' 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety (same word) on him because he cares for you.
John 14:1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.
God doesn'twant you to worry because worry means you do not trust God, that you are not taking Him fully at His word.
God has been providing for you all along - look at the cross.
God wants you to have true peace by praying - about everything (act of doing)
v. 6 "But in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."
All things in your life are of concern to God
The big and the small: where to move, who to marry, what job to get, even your hobbies, and leisure times.
The peace that God gives you will guard your minds.
The peace that God gives you will strengthen you.
Because of the cross you have access to the throne of God.
which is why it says "with thanksgiving," because of the cross, the proof of God's faithfulness.
In the presence of God there is peace.
Romans 15:13, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Psalm 16:11 You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Practice the presence of God - pray!
In prayer you are transformed
By praying you will intern want to think about holy things. That is why... (next point)
God wants you to have true peace by meditating on what is holy (act of thinking)
Your minds have been set free from slavery to sin.
Romans 8:6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; God wants you to fill your heart with what is good.
Phil. 4:8, "whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, of good repute, excellent worthy of praise. Let your mind dwell on these things."
God wants you to think, to meditate on truth, purity, and excellence.
Psalm 119:78 "...I will meditate on your precepts."
The precepts of God, the Word of God, is truth, purity, and excellence.
Meditate on the Word of God so that you might be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
God wants you to have true peace by putting into practice what you have learned. (act of doing)
He wants you to...
trust Him for everything
Philippians 4:6a "Don''t be anxious for anything."
pray to Him for anything
Philippians 4:6b "but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
meditate on what is holy
Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable -- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy -- think about such things.
Conclusion
These things are written to you so that the God of peace will be with you. Not simply peace... but the God of peace will be with you. Ultimately this is about God dwelling with you. He wants you to be holy, pure, right. Will you trust Him and not worry? Will you pray about everything in your life? Will you meditate on the Word of God? And finally, will you practice, will you do, what God calls you to do?

BE NOT DISCOURAGED

Jesus the Sacrifice that saves us~~THANK YOU LORD!!

GOD determined that mankind's Redeemer would be a Substitute Sacrifice and an Atonement to pay a bill He didn't owe, for a debt that mankind would not and could not pay.
The Message of the Cross is foolishness to those who will not hear, but to those who are Saved it is the single most important event in human history.

God's Purpose: Reconciliation between Himself and mankind.
Jesus Christ is the Lamb slain before the foundation of the Earth.
1 Peter 1 ~~ {19} But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot ~~ {20} Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,~~ {21 } Who by Him do believe in God, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him Glory; that your Faith and Hope might be in God.

BORN IN HIM

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." —2nd Corinthians 5:17
It is ONLY through the Precious Word of God that anyone can be born-again. Surely, no one can be born into this world again physically... there is no turning back the hands of time. However, you most certainly can be born again, spiritually, into God's family through the Spirit of Christ... "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his" (Romans 8:9). The way we become "born again" is found in the Word of God...
"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." —1st Peter 1:23
We are born again by the Word of God. Jesus is the Word of God (John 1:1,14: Revelation 19:13).

The Light in me

Don't let it go out, but keep it shining, keep it shining, Oh Glorious Father of Lights. 2Sa 23:4 And [he shall be] as the light of the morning, [when] the sun riseth, [even] a morning without clouds; [as] the tender grass [springing] out of the earth by clear shining after rain. Luk 11:36 If thy whole body therefore [be] full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light. Jam 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
